近日，美國一男子坐在高架橋欲跳，路過的一名陌生女子注意到他的舉動。她用林肯公園樂隊的歌詞：誰會在意有一束光芒熄滅？我在乎？來勸解他，最後與警察合力，成功將他拉離危險地。據悉，這名女子用於安撫輕生男子的歌詞，誰會在意有一束光芒熄滅？我在乎？出自於林肯公園首張錄音室專輯《HybridTheory》中的第四首單曲《intheend》。
然而背後令人心酸的是，林肯公園的歌救了別人，卻沒能救下自己，2017年7月，林肯樂隊主唱查斯特·貝寧頓在洛杉磯附近一個小型沿海城市的派洛斯福德莊園自殺，而貝寧頓自殺的日子恰好是當年早些時候自殺的克里斯·康奈爾53歲生日。在貝寧頓逝世前一週，樂隊原本準備在7月27日在馬薩諸塞州曼斯菲爾德開始美國巡迴演出。當時消息一出，令全球粉絲心痛不已。
